29-Year-Old “Cereal” Entrepreneur Is A Single Mom From Raleigh

Raleigh is getting its first exotic cereal and shake bar. Day & Night Raleigh is set to open on October 5th, 2021. The store will feature classic cereals and some specialty cereals that you can’t find in stores. “Our goal is to make cereal mainstream,” said Briana McGahee, Owner, Day & Night Raleigh.

So why cereal? “Cereal is something I’ve grown up on, cereal is something my daughter eats every single day,” said McGahee who is a single mother to a 5-year-old girl. “Being a single parent it’s hard, but I have a great support system, my family has supported me one-hundred percent,” added McGahee.

Some of the cereals Day & Night Raleigh features include Little Debbie’s Cosmic Brownie Cereal, Dunkaroos, and Baby Shark Cereal. You can also order specialty combinations like Unicorn Breath which is filled with Fruity Lucky Charms, Fruity Peebles, whipped cream, and topped with strawberry drizzle.

McGahee’s advice to aspiring entrepreneurs is to stay consistent, stay persistent, and make sure that you are really focused on your goals. Although she’s experienced many ups and downs she told us, “Stay clear of people that are not good for you and don’t let other people influence you that are not on your path to success.”

Briana McGahee considers her family her inspiration and wants to be a role model for her young daughter, nieces, and nephews. She often tells them to never stop dreaming, because her dream is now a reality.
