Goat and Horse Snuggles (Sunday)

11:30-12:30 at Avery Family Farm – 1923 Shaw Road, Durham

We all need some self-care time and love. If you love animals this is the place for you! During this class, we will offer one hour for all ages to relax, let go of the week’s stress, learn new animal petting/massage techniques, and enjoy some goat and horse cuddles!

Program Itinerary:

  • Brief mindfulness exercise
  • Intensive goat snuggles and techniques for scratching, petting, and massaging our four-legged friends (can be applied to dogs and cats too!)
  • Questions and answer session.
  • Small groups go to practice their skills with the horses as well 🙂
  • Hand-washing and Time for purchasing farm products if desired

Each session will include lots of goat cuddles and possible shenanigans from baby goats to make you laugh, as well as a chance to spend time with our horses. This is a great way to help you release stress, do something good for your body and mind, learn ways to connect more with animals, and just have an hour to be you.
