Women Rock! North Carolina Symphony (Friday and Saturday)

Cinco de Mayo Weekend Bar Crawl (Saturday)
From 2:00 to 9:00 on Saturday starting at Milk Bar on Glenwood Avenue: On May 7th, 2022, join the fiesta as we pull out the maracas and margaritas. The thirstiest weekend of the year is back, and we are ready to party with you! For the mom that likes tequila, this could be a great way to celebrate Mother’s Day!

PeakFest 2022 (Saturday)
From 9-5 on Saturday, join the Apex Festival Commission for a Peak of Good Living Celebration in Downtown Apex! There will be 5 blocks of arts, crafts, food trucks, live music, entertainment, kid’s rides, and much more! Salem Street in historic downtown Apex will come alive during PeakFest!

Mother’s Day Art-n-Soul Market @ Honeysuckle Tea House (Sunday)
Come celebrate with Mom and shop handmade artisans surrounded by dozens of colorful flowers, herbs and berry fields at the iconic Honeysuckle Tea House in Chapel Hill. Grab a farm-crafted beverage, tea, beer or mead and enjoy the view from the Tea House, featuring a playground, hammocks, mandala garden and meadery. Live music, food, drinks and snacks will be served up all day. Bring your friends and meet us there! Dogs welcome!

Transfer Co’s Kentucky Derby Day (Saturday)
Join us for a Derby Day party for the history books on Saturday, May 7th at Transfer Co. Food Hall!
Dress up in your best seersucker, big hats, suspenders, and crazy outfits to enjoy our full lineup of Derby Day activities. We will be showing full coverage of the race and commentary starting at 1 PM.
Prizes and giveaways will be awarded to the winners of Best Seersucker, Best Hat, and the Best Dressed Couple!
The drinks will be the star of the show with specialty Maker’s Mark cocktails and top-shelf bourbon offerings. We will also be serving up Mint Juleps in commemorative glasses.
