A 27-acre park in the southeast part of Wake County. Enjoy the historic farmstead and lovely trees surrounding it. Don’t miss the goats and chickens that call the property home.

Location: Carpenter Farm Supply Co., 933 Morrisville Carpenter Rd, Cary, NC 27519
It is thought to be the only rural brick store building in continuous use in Wake County. It’s surrounded by beautiful trees making it a versatile spot for fall photos.

Location: Historic Yates Mills County Park, 4620 Lake Wheeler Rd, Raleigh, NC 27603
Yates Mill is a fully restored, circa 1756 gristmill located five miles south of downtown Raleigh. Be careful not to slip on the rocks while getting the perfect waterfall backdrop.
