Here we are again! Is it just me, or did this week feel like a particularly long one? It was that pesky Daylight Savings shift, wasn’t it? Now that that’s over, we can focus on more fun things, like this weekend! There are some pretty cool things going on around the Triangle, and here are just a few of them below.

Live Music at Longleaf on Sunday @ 6:30
Head over to the Longleaf Hotel in downtown Raleigh for live music on Sunday! Starting at 6:30, bands Ins Kino, Slow Fiction, and Girl Skin will play for free on the expansive and beautiful patio. Get a creative cocktail, some bar snacks, and enjoy the tunes. It’s also a perfect spot to watch a glorious sunset (read: golden hour photo op!).
Roast of Raleigh: A Drag Comedy Show @ Ruby Deluxe
“Join us for this filthy and glamorous comedy roast starring 6 of Raleigh’s favorite queens: Brenda the Drag Queen, Emory Starr, Kayla Lashay, Kiara Mel, Marsha Mellows, & Ruby Liqueur.” Okay! We think we will! Doors open at 6:00 with performances to start at 7:00.

Local Artist Showcase @ 1018 S Saunders Street
@yartsale919, Tongue & Groove woodshop, and @petrichor_booking are hosting a North Carolina artist showcase from 1-5 on Saturday at 1018 S Saunders Street sponsored by Outer Banks Distilling and Dram & Draught. Check out the art show and live music, and enjoy free drinks and local food. You’ll be able to buy art and other items from local vendors. Donations are welcome for @nextstep_raleigh .
Patty on the Green Festival @ Lafayette Village
From 12-4 on Saturday, wear some green and celebrate Irish history at Lafayette Village in North Raleigh “offering an entertaining, fun-filled peek into Irish Culture. Enjoy live music, food, and fun for the entire family!” Historic Interpretations, Inc will lead youngsters in historic Irish games and frivolity, discuss Irish myths and legends, and explore many other aspects of Irish heritage. Spring Food Truck Rodeo @ Durham Central Park
Rain or shine, peruse the many amazing food trucks of the Triangle from 12-4 on Sunday at Durham Central Park! Food truck rodeos are such an awesome way to support local small businesses, and Sunday’s rodeo will feature more than 35 vendors covering local and exotic cuisines, drinks, and more.
